AGE AT TIME OF BOOKING/STAY:
– The age limit for booking accommodation units is 20 years or older. The booker must stay in the unit for the duration of the stay and is responsible for ensuring that the travel conditions are complied with by everyone staying in the unit. Special provisions apply for the periods of Christmas, New Year and Easter. During these periods, the age limit for booking is 23 years. No persons under 23 years of age unaccompanied by parents/guardians may stay during these periods. Valid identification must be presented at check-in and upon request for all resident guests. A completed guest list with date of birth is handed in at reception upon check-in. Skeikampen Booking reserves the right to withhold the key if this is not complied with. For organized groups and travel companies with a leader and for families, the above age restrictions do not apply.
PAYMENT TERMS: The stay will be pre-invoiced. 50% of the rental amount is paid as a deposit 16 days after the booking has taken place. The balance must be received 30 days before arrival. An order is a binding agreement. In case of any cancellation, the cancellation policy below must be followed. When booking later than 30 days before the arrival date, payment is made immediately by credit card. If the payment deadline is not met, Skeikampen Booking reserves the right to cancel the tenant’s reservation.
We use Klarna as our checkout provider for online orders. This means that we may transfer your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna when the checkout page is uploaded in order for Klarna to handle your purchase. Your transferred personal data will be processed in accordance with Klarna’s own privacy policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If the guest cancels the rental unit earlier than 1 month. before arrival, the amount paid will be refunded, minus one cancellation fee per rental unit. Cancellation later than 1 month. before arrival, the tenant is responsible for payment of the full rental amount.
FORCE MAJEURE: Skei Booking AS is not responsible for unsatisfactory weather conditions, closed facilities or other circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to make errors in pricing, descriptions of services and technical problems that may occur. The parties may withdraw from the agreement if the accommodation unit cannot be used due to acts of war, natural disasters, prolonged interruption of water or electricity supplies, and similar events that neither the landlord nor the tenant could foresee or influence. Due to events beyond the accommodation’s control, the accommodation has the right to move the tenant to an equivalent or better accommodation. Where possible, the tenant shall be informed in advance of such changes. Such changes do not entitle the tenant to avoid paying for the stay.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: Check in after hours. 1600 on the day of arrival, some days no earlier than 1700. Check out by noon. 1100 on the day of departure. Late check-out will be charged NOK 500,-.
Arrivals to all apartments and cabins; At the reception of Skeikampen Booking, Sanatorievegen 27B, 2652 Svingvoll. The guest must expect to be re-invoiced for any damage to the unit that is discovered after departure and which the guest does not settle at check-out. This also applies to smoking. Charging an electric car from the cabin is prohibited.
ROAD DESCRIPTION: From the south; drive E6 to Lillehammer, take the first exit north of Lillehammer towards Gausdal and highway 255. Follow highway 255 up through Gausdal, through Follebu and on to Segalstad Bru. In Segalstad Bru, drive straight ahead onto road 254. Follow this up to Svingvoll. (9.5km). In Svingvoll, turn left towards Skei (8km). From the north, take the E6 to Tretten, exit and take road 254 towards Gausdal. Follow this up to Svingvoll (8km). In Svingvoll, turn right towards Skei (8km).
Lillehammer – Segalstad Bru – Skeikampen 38 km. Segalstad Bru – Skeikampen 21 km. Tretten – Skeikampen 16 km.
The road barrier on Veslesetervegen (between Skei and Austlid) has been upgraded in the summer of 2019 to an automatic barrier solution (sign recognition). Each toll pass costs DKK. 60,- plus invoice fee without registration. It is recommended that you register at this URL before visiting Skeikampen, so that payment is made automatically: https://www.youpark.no You will then be able to choose the type of passage at a more reasonable price. You only pay for the toll from Skei to Austlid, not the return. The barrier is located just west of the Veslesetervegen-Nersetervegen junction, and applies to all cabins along roads west of the river (for example Veslesetervegen, Glåmhaugen, Brannåsvegen, Liaråket, Vestlia, Klevabergvegen, Fjellstuevegen, Lisetervegen, Fangstvegen, Svarttjernvegen).
PRACTICAL INFORMATION CABINS AND APARTMENTS: All cabins and apartments contain duvets and pillows corresponding to the number of beds. Bedding can either be rented or brought from home. Note that all units are non-smoking. Firewood is not included, but can be purchased at Joker Skeikampen or most gas stations on the way up.
LATE ARRIVAL: Cottages and apartments: Upon arrival after the reception is closed, unclaimed keys will be placed in a green mailbox on the outside of the front door where they will be available for collection.
